Bio

Dead Earth

Heavy Metal

Dead Earth was formed in November of 2017 by front man Jack Sabolich. The name came about after seeing trash laying on the side of the road while driving one day, and the utter disgust and anger of what Jack saw that day, is how he came up with the band name. It's also a tribute to the zombie horror movie genre that Jack also loves. The band would record it's first 6 song ep entitled Pollution a few months into their existence, at Mercenary Studios in March of 2018 and release it in July of 2018. The same lineup would than continue to write and play a very busy schedule of shows throughout 2018. In April of 2019 the band would return to Mercenary Studios to record the full length entitled Truth Hammer. The full length was released in August of 2019 and in October 2019 the band replaced guitarist Eric Jankowski and drummer Brian Shea with current guitarist Joe DeFrank and drummer Matthew Kollar. 2020 hit the band pretty hard with the departure of bassist Bob Semancik and lead guitarist Mark Hardy, but Dead Earth continued on with singer Jack Sabolich, guitarist Joe DeFrank, Matthew Kollar-drums, and former Sappy Bell bassist (and fellow band mate of Matthew Kollar) Jeff Ready. The band continued to write new songs and developed a much heavier, thrash sound, and a new found energy, that was not yet unleashed on the previous releases. There was still one piece of the puzzle missing and that was the electrifying lead playing and songwriting abilities of guitarist Mark Hardy. In May of 2021 Mark Hardy came back to the band and completed a very powerful line up that continues to write killer songs, now with a much meaner, darker and heavier edge. Dead Earth is currently finishing up the ep All Hail The Dark with the current lineup at Mercenary Studios, and will go back into the studio in late 2021 early 2022 to record their next "KILLER" masterpiece. Dead Earth hails from Cleveland, Ohio and is influenced by the cold, dark, gloomy weather, and the blue collar, heavy industrial area from which they come from. The band writes music that relates to every day problems that many people people throughout the World deal with on a daily basis Their unique sound is definitely something to check out.

There are also 2 animatronic props used on both sides of the stage if the stage is big enough. If the stage is not big enough the animatronics will be placed either in front or beside the stage. 263 KB
